The unlawful process created the Law Society (Left) -v- The lawful process under the Uniform Law (Right).
The unlawful process created the Law Society (Left) -v- The lawful process under the Uniform Law (Right).

What you are witnessing is blatant unlawful conduct done by the Law Society of NSW Law Council and the NSW Professional Standard Department ("PSD") who premeditated to bypass the statutory legal framework under Chapter 5 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law ("NSW) ("Uniform Law").

The illustration above captures a critical and troubling sequence of events.

In 2023, a judicial referral was made to the the Legal Services Commissioner (OLSC) based on an allegation of possible breaches of Rules 5 and 32 of the Solicitors Conduct Rules. These referrals, which the OLSC forwarded to the Law Society of NSW (LSNSW) should have triggered an objective investigation, one grounded in evidence, proper process, and the safeguards set out under Chapter 5 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Uniform Law).

But that never happened.

Instead, in May 2024, the Law Society created a new narrative, one centred not on the original referral, but on allegations of "non-disclosure" and misconduct that were never tested or particularised. The official Chapter 5 process was circumvented completely.

No formal allegations. No notice of hearing. No NCAT proceedings. No NCAT determination.

What took place instead was a covert, unilateral campaign of administrative interference:

  • In May 2024: Interfered with renewal of practising certificates and memberships, forcing us to operate under our prior certificates FY 2023/2024;

  • In Feb 2025:: Tampered with or deleted our solicitors' records from the LSWNSW Database and the Public Register of Solicitors.

  • On 29 May 2025: Made public entries on the OLSC Disciplinary Register, branding us “unfit” — without lawful authority.

  • 30 May 2025: Issued Decisions by email, attaching s 45 Certificates with files dated prior to notice, 21 and 22 May 2025.

By the time the Decision was made, we were already erased. Removed from LSWNSW records as solicitors. Memberships not renewed/suspended.

Our firm forced to cease to operations. Our clients left without representation.

All of this, without disciplinary proceedings, without a hearing, and without findings.

The Law Society of NSW not only broke the law , it broke the trust of the profession. It dismantled the Uniform Law’s own checks and balances. And it did so knowingly, to suppress the voices of two solicitors, witnesses and victims who reported serious misconduct within the legal profession, including judicial officers, major law firms, and regulatory bodies.

This is a coordinated cover-up. And it must be exposed.

We are now calling on:

🔹 NSW Premier Chris Minns

To urgently commission an independent public inquiry into the conduct of the Law Society of NSW, the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner, and the role of the Attorney General and MP Hugh McDermott, who were notified and failed to act. Their inaction condoned unlawful and retaliatory measures against two innocent lawyers.

This isn’t just our fight. It concerns all of us.

If corruption can silence two officers of the court, who upheld the law and reported misconduct, it can silence anyone.

We did not ask to be whistleblowers. We simply did what every ethical lawyer is expected to do: speak the truth, report the wrongs, and stand by the law.

But now we need your voice, because silence is no longer an option.
