Law Society of NSW unlawfully prevents the legitimate renewal of Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl's practising certificates without lawful process and deleted their solicitors records in the LS Registry

Tampering with solicitors practising certificates, memberships and the deletion of solicitor records

You are witnessing an alleged targeted discriminatory hate crime in progress by the Law Society of NSW Professional Standards Department (PSD), the Law Council (15 members and President), Head of Registry Office, and the Legal Services Commissioner (OLSC), collectively referred to as LSNSW Council Members ("LCM")

The LCM is alleged to have engaged in an unlawful act of tampering with and preventing the legitimate renewals of the practising certificates of Ms Marie Odtojan ("Ms Odtojan") and Mr Artem Bryl ("Mr Bryl") for the FY 2024/25. In doing so, they have ensured that Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl are unlawfully locked out and prevented from renewing their practising certificates for FY 2025/26 putting their livelihood, their careers, their business and all the law firm's client matters at risk.

The above-mentioned Law Society officers and Legal Services Commissioner (who are all legal practitioners themselves and have a positive duty to self-report) have demonstrated clear intent to do blatant unlawful acts against Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl.

The LCM have shown contempt for the law and the lawful process, and are determined to do all acts and things, using their office in the Law Society of NSW and the OLSC to unlawfully prevent the said solicitors from continuing to practice law and to terminate their law firm.

The Law Society of NSW PSD / Director Ms Valerie Griswold, Law Council, the Head of Registry Office, Ms Nadya Haddad, and the Legal Services Commissioner, Ms Samantha Gulliver, had unlawfully tampered with the legitimate renewal of the said solicitors practising certificates without lawful process. There were no proceedings, nor orders nor determinations to support the actions done by the LCM

The LCM did such actions without notice to the solicitors, depriving them from being heard on the matter and from objecting to such conduct, which is unlawful and contrary to the laws and established process.

The LCM had banked the renewal fees for both the said solicitors FY 2024/25 practising certificates and memberships. Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl received nothing in return. The FY 2024/25 is effectively over.

Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl was not notified by the LCM regarding the non-renewal of their memberships, and that the memberships rights and benefits which they had since their respective admissions were silently stripped from them. Such acts were done by ambush and was only discovered by the solcitors by chance. Having no membership prevented the said solicitors from meeting their obligations & making required applications for themselves and the law firm.

The LCM had unlawfully tampered with & deleted the said solicitors' data from the Law Society public Registry of Solicitors. Again, such action were done without notice, without lawful process, and contrary to the law.

The LCM had made unsubstantiated statement of fact/allegation of 'misconduct' /'findings of misconduct' against Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl. Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl were never before any court/tribunal for matters of misconduct against them.

Under section 152 of the LPUL Application Act requires the NSW Legal Services Commissioner to keep a Register of Disciplinary Action (the Register) taken against lawyers in New South Wales. Search via: https://portal.olsc.nsw.gov.au/dasearchbn/ As of May 2025, there are no records under the name of Ms Odtojan or Mr Bryl. The following screenshots were accessed on 11 Feb 2025.

Notices of corrupt and unlawful conduct

On 13 and 15 August 2024, the LCM received notices from Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl of the corrupt and unlawful conduct done against them.

To date Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl's notice have been ignored and not responded to by the LCM. During that time, Ms Griswold had checkin on Mr Bryl's Linkedin, Mr McGrath sent a LinkedIn connection to Mr Bryl and the emails of the law council members which has always been shown on the Law Society website for many years were deleted ad no longer available. But, no response to the serious issues raised and the evidence/documents received which included the alleged fraudulent conduct /recordings in judgments by the NSW Supreme Court justices Leeming and Kirk (leave to appeal Ms Condon case 2023) and Justices Basten and White (leave to appeal Mr Ford and Mr Condon case 2023)

To date, despite request for LCM to substantiate their statement of fact/ allegation of misconduct and repeated notice to them of their unlawful corrupt conduct which they a positive duty to self-report for the improprieties they done in office, (also raising questions for their fitness to practice as legal practitioners), the said LCM parties continue to rely on their fabricated misconduct. They have all ignored and do not respond to the notices given to them by Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl.

Victims and Witnesses of multiple fraud and improprieties

Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl are victims & witnesses who have documented evidence of the corruption & systemic modus operandi of Credit Corp and its lawyers using the courts for unlawful purposes, obtaining judgments based on false facts that a contract exist when they do not have such contract in their possession.

This was discovered in Ms Odtojan's private civil case in 2014-2016, Odtojan ats Credit Corp where she was a party to proceedings, a natural person, who was not in capacity of a legal practitioner. She was a St George Bank Consumer from year 2 at the age of 8 years old.

Credit Corp made a claim pursuant to a credit contract which they state was legally assigned from St George Bank. Ms Odtojan had simply done what any reasonable person would do when a claim is made pursuant to a contract - she sought forCredit Corp and its lawyers (Certus Partners / Piper Alderman) to produce the contract they recorded and relied upon in their statement of claim. When they could not produce their alleged contract, Ms Odtojan had alleged Credit Corp and its lawyers of misleading the court of a material fact that a contract exist as recorded in Credit Corp's claim when they had no such contract in their possession.

Instead of doing what is a standard practice by all lawyers and provide the alleged contract to Ms Odtojan, Mr Florian Ammer Partner of Piper Alderman instead made a report against Ms Odtojan using her legal profession (which she is not in such capacity in these proceedings) to the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner (OLSC) who, despite their guidelines not to interfere with court proceedings on foot, and where Ms Odtojan is not in capacity of a lawyer, pursued Mr Ammer's complaint and forwarded it to LSNSW PSD, who then hovered the complaint over Ms Odtojan throughout the Local Court proceedings in 2016.

Ms Odtojan's profession was constantly under threat throughout the local court proceedings by the report made by Mr Ammer. The LSNSW PSD never sought for Mr Ammer /Piper Alderman to respond to Ms Odtojan's allegation that they had misled the court on a material fact that a contract exist, neither did the PSD sought any document/evidence of such contract materially relied upon by Piper Alderman.

To date, there has been no evidence of a contract which Credit Corp/Certus Partners/Piper Alderman had pleaded as a material fact to prove their claim. No contract was produced nor any terms of any contract were referred to in the two day final local court hearing presided by Magistrate Sharon Freund on 18 and 19 July 2016.

Magistrate Freund had recorded in her judgement that a contract exists as a mere statement without any evidence of such contract. She had solely relied on the mere statements made by Mr Nicolas Ford that a contract was provided to his client (Ms Odtojan) where no such evidence exist to support Mr Ford's statement.

Mr Ford had ran a different case to his client's case. This was acknowledged in the interim hearing before District court judge Sharon Norton on 16 February 2023, however, Judge Norton recorded a different narrative in her District Court judgment in 2023 concealing such fact and falsely recording that Ms Odtojan wanted to re-litigate a signature issue on a document. Such evidence/submission of re-litigation of a signature issue was never made before Judge Norton.

Sometime in early 2017, the PSD had closed Ms Ammer/Piper Alderman's complaint against Ms Odtojan once the Local Court proceedings were closed. the report was closed on the basis that Ms Odtojan was not in capacity of a legal practitioner and the solicitors rules relied upon by Mr Ammer/Piper Alderman did not apply. This fact was already known to the OLSC/PSD from the outset, upon receiving the complaint.

Multiple reports have been made to the LSNSW PSD /OLSC since 2016, where OLSC/PSD had systemically closed all reports made by Ms Odtojan (pertaining to allegations of improprieties, fraud, perversion of the course of justice, fabricating account statements, missing trust funds incl, impersonation of legal practitioners by unqualified persons) without investigation nor question put to those reported.

Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl are also helping victims & representing them in their cases against #CreditCorp #creditcorpgroup

This is not only a NSW issue, but a national emergency where our courts, law society of NSW and NSW OLSC, and the rule of law are compromised.

The Credit Laws are not being applied and therefore its development is stunted. Credit Corp has systemically circumvented the credit laws and possible penalties for contravention of the said law.

Ms Odtojan and Mr Bryl have witnessed that titles/ positions of power/office are placed above the law. There are those operating above the law who are are protected by the NSW legal regulators, who will prosecute innocent persons who make reports and speak up. They will target witnesses/victims, their profession, especially if they are legal practitioners.

They have demonstrated in how they have dealt with Ms Odtojan's multiple reports to them that OLSC/PSD will eliminated/conceal evidence, and have covered-up improprieties and criminal acts of those reported to LS PSD /OLSC.

The cover-ups and fraudulent acts in Ms Odtojan's cases are insurmountable. We, as a society, as taxpayers, pay for these unlawful acts done in office / in court. Such injustices affect us all.

You can look up what happens to a society when laws are systemically disregarded by those entrusted to uphold & protect it. This leads to tyranny and a lawless society. The consequences are #generational

We need your help to bring those who have abused their positions to engage in corrupt conduct and do unlawful acts in office to justice. Help us to protect and preserve the integrity of our legal system and legal profession which PSD/OLSC have failed to do and placed the public and all at risk of corrupt and unlawful act done in courts/in office.
